The insertion of data in InDesign with the display of the active tags applies a different color to each insertion. Sometimes it can happen that the color of the tag is the same as the color of the background of the page, to check the actual color matching go to the window/utility/tag.
We recommended you to visualize tags in InDesign (View/Structure/Show Tag Markers). Tag show the data entered via Fastcat. If you delete a data in InDesign without deleting the tag (represented by square brackets) InDesign still considers the data entered, even if it is not displayed. To safely delete data use the functions within the Fastcat panel Delete from Fastcat selection and Delete from InDesign selection.
Fastcat is not a plug-in and should not be reinstalled every time InDesign changes its version. After updating Fastcat you have to change the InDesign release that you are currently using in Fastcat configuration panel.
Yes, you can move your license from one computer to another, as long as you do not use it on both computers at the same time.
