The update from InDesign selection of inserted elements is very useful to speed up the work when you need to automatically update items that are on a large database in a Fastcat project .
- In InDesign select a text element, an image box, or one or more cells in a table.
- Make sure that the Fastcat project connected to the InDesign document is open and that all sheets are present.
- Depending on where the items are located, within the Fastcat project, select the most recommended Update method: active sheet only , all sheets in the active file , or all sheets of all files .
- Go to Fastcat and click Update from InDesign selection.
